Burnished Red Pitcher
I dreamt this pitcher shape. I wanted the spout to flow out of the handle like water.
Then Mark Tyson of the Wallingford Potters guild told me I was making 16th century French vases.
Oh well, there may be nothing new under the sun, but there can be a new, enjoyable pitcher in your house. We’ll call this a pitcher inspired by 16th century French pottery (that I saw in my dreams) lightweight and well balanced enough to be functional. The glaze is deep and complex enough for decor. Keep it in the shelf or in the kitchen, it’s good safe. Your cucumber water never felt so 16th century French inspired.
